WHO AM I?
Hi! I'm Amanda, a UX/UI Designer with over 4 years of experience crafting user-centered digital products for both mobile and web platforms.
My passion lies in creating intuitive, accessible, and visually engaging interfaces that not only solve real problems but also provide seamless experiences for users. With a Bachelor's degree in social communication and a specialization in user experience, I blend creativity with a deep understanding of design principles to deliver solutions that align with both user needs and business goals.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across industries such as med tech and marketing. My approach is grounded in thorough research and user empathy, ensuring that the designs I create are based on a solid understanding of the target audience. I take pride in my ability to synthesize insights from user interviews, surveys, and data analysis into actionable design decisions that drive engagement and improve usability.
Collaboration is at the heart of my work. I’ve partnered closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to deliver scalable solutions that evolve with user needs. I’m proficient in tools like Figma, Photoshop, and Miro, and I’m experienced in creating wireframes, prototypes, and maintaining design systems for consistency and scalability. My process includes continuous usability testing, iterating on feedback to ensure the final product exceeds expectations.
I’m always eager to explore new design trends and technologies, particularly in emerging fields like AI, and I remain committed to continuous learning. My ultimate goal is to create impactful designs that not only meet business objectives but also bring a sense of delight and ease to users’ everyday lives.
Outside of work, I’m a big fan of reading, playing video games, traveling, and going to live music events. These hobbies fuel my creativity and help me stay inspired as a designer. I also speak fluent Portuguese and English, which has enabled me to work on international projects with diverse teams. I’ve been studying German for years, though it seems German has its own plans—it’s still a challenge I’m determined to tackle!
